…at the Offerimus tibi, the deacon looks like he’s completely given up, but subdeacon and priest seem fully engaged! When I was a kid, I only had the wherewithal to play Low Mass. This is spectacular.
My mother’s missal retains a powerful witness to her Faith and Eucharistic piety. As the priest would kneel in adoration of the Sacred Host, she would kiss the words of consecration. Sixty years later her lipstick is still there!
