You are going to win some, you are going to lose some. Try to stay calm and collected. Reach out to loved ones and communicate your feelings. Do not be afraid to repeat yourself. Pray or meditate to fall asleep. Drink water.

I want to say to everyone that's battling with a #mentalillness to stay strong. Find what works for you, find a doctor or therapist you can trust and have a strict regime with your treatment. It's going to be ups, downs, flatlines, and everything in between.

I am trying to keep my brain running, working as usual, trying to play video games, going out and watching movies. It's tiresome, but I feel like not giving up and waiting for the withdrawal effects to go away is the best way to manage the situation.

I recently tapered off escitalopram. It's been 6 days since I took the last pill. The first 3 days were ok, no withdrawal effects. The last 3 have been hard. Brain zaps, vertigo when moving eyes or head fast, and occasional flu-like symptoms. I am told this is normal.

I want to show my support to anyone who has been/is on SSRI medication. I had a rough 2023 due to accident and and while working with a therapist, pathologist and psychiatrist go overcome it, we decided the best approach would be a 9 month SSRI treatment along with therapy.
