Get help. This game of building a startup works better as a co-op. Focus on what you do best.

Before you start complaining and worrying about low engagement in your community, ask yourself the critical question
"Is engagement the key metric of success in your community? Why? What else could it be?"

@Deepak910k
Building my startup in public yielded me thousands of dollars in revenue.
Now I want to start a close knit WhatsApp group with #buildinpublic founders to exchange notes, ideas, support and grow together 🚀💪

The worst thing you can do by building a community is either attract chaos in the form of too many people and conversations or get no response.
I don't know what scares you. If it doesn't work, you lose nothing but if it works you get everything you otherwise.
Start now.

🔔 Reminder: No sale on the internet is easy. My product convinced someone a thousand miles away to buy it while I was sleeping.

Wanna get paid to socialize?
Become a community manager.
Despite the recent #layoffs I know several companies hiring community managers. Full-time, Remote, and 🚀
Like & Retweet and I will send you the link to all the job boards.

If a brand doesn't want to build a community, it tells me three things.
-they don't care about customers beyond sales.
-scared about customers talking to each other
- not truly customer-centric
because being community-led takes a lot of patience, courage, gut, trust, and work.

@Deepak910k
Three critical things in community-building
👉 Defining your purpose, Ideal Member Profile, and KPI
👉 Onboarding, Speak less, Ask more
👉 Preserve and encourage healthy contributions
What else?
Oh and just like marketing, listen more than you speak.

Any guesses what she can do? Hint: it’s for super creators who are active on more than 3 social platforms.
